What are Cortisone Injections?

Cortisone Injections may help to relieve pain and inflammation in a specific area of the body. The injections are commonly given into large joints such as the shoulder, elbow, knee and hip. Smaller joints such as those in the hands and feet can also benefit from cortisone injections.
