Jenny is a pre-qualifying Intern Practitioner in Five Element Acupuncture. She is in the last three months of her three-year Honours Degree at The Acupuncture Academy and has received permission to practice under indirect supervision here at the Raleigh Clinic. This means that Jenny’s treatment records are subject to scrutiny by supervisors who are fully qualified members of the British Acupuncture Council. The course is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB.co.uk). It covers acupuncture theory, clinical skills, point location, conventional medical sciences, research, and professional development.
Jenny has been a registered nurse with fourteen years nursing experience in acute and secondary care settings. In the last four years of her nursing career Jenny specialised in Wound Care, where she was a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist (Band 7).
Jenny is married with three children and sought Acupuncture treatment after childbirth. She discovered the huge benefits of Acupuncture for mental, emotional, and physical health, and general well-being. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any of your health needs.
Acupuncture treatment is often sought by people who are experiencing specific pains or symptoms for example osteoarthritis of the knee, or in a more general way to maintain good health or for continued wellbeing.
