About Jenny
After spending six months at Raleigh Park Clinic as an Intern, Jenny has completed the Three-Year Honours Degree Course and achieved a Licentiate in Acupuncture. She was COMMENDED for her Clinical Skills. The course is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB.co.uk). It covers Acupuncture Theory, Clinical Skills, Point Location, Conventional Medical Sciences, Research and Professional Development. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Jenny has been a Registered Nurse with fourteen years nursing experience in Acute and Secondary care settings. In the last four years of her nursing career Jenny specialised in Wound Care, where she was a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist (Band 7). As a Five Element Acupuncture Practitioner she enjoys combining her knowledge and experience of Western Medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine to diagnose and treat patients. Jenny is also trained in Gua Sha, Cupping and Moxibustion, and provides Diet and Lifestyle Advice.
Jenny is married with three children and sought Acupuncture treatment herself, after childbirth. She discovered the huge benefits of Acupuncture for mental, emotional, and physical health, and general well-being. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any of your health needs as well as working to improve your health and well-being.
